Nathaniel's Senior Session

Nathaniel's session was definitely a memorable one for me.  I think his session set the record for the number of the things that could possibly go wrong!!!  It started with me unknowingly sitting right on an ant hill and being completely covered in TONS of tiny biting ants.  If you know me well, you know that I am NOT a fan of bugs in any way...so that was sort of one of my nightmares coming true!  Lucky for me, Nathaniel's dad was very quick to step in and try to get as many as he could off of me.  Most of them were on my back and his dad described it as one of the scenes from Indiana Jones where there are tons of bugs....EEEEEEEEKKKKK!!!  After I had gone in their house and shaken out my clothes (and traded shirts with my "assistant"), we all went back outside and my trusty assistant stepped on and crushed my very favorite pair of sunglasses!  :(  Then, as we moved from location to location, my equipment starting acting up....first, one of my camera lenses started making very strange sounds and the glass inside was shaking....then my lighting equipment decided it did not want to work at all anymore.  So, needless to say, it was a challenge!!  And despite all of the crazy things that happened, we somehow still managed to get really amazing shots of Nathaniel.  And he was such a good sport the whole time, even when his friends had let him know they were at his house waiting for him to get home for some fun they had planned that evening.  Hopefully seeing his portraits will make all that craziness worth it for him!  :)

This photo was taken just before I realized I was covered in ants!!!  Yikes!
